Hair to Fertiliser (कpal) is an environmental and social enterprise officially registered on December 22 2023, at Tilagupha-03, Kalikot. Its main objective is to reduce the fertiliser scarcity problem in Nepal, especially in Karnali province. Chicken feathers and hair are two of the wastes that are most difficult to manage due to their slow degradation period. After various trials and research, their team has developed an idea to produce liquid fertilisers utilising these wastes. It not only solves the waste problem but also acts as an alternative to the burning problem of scarcity of fertilisers in Nepal. They developed an alternative solution. Finally, their collaborative efforts succeeded in conceptualising liquid fertiliser derived from hair.
